• At my school we promote attendance and being on time. We keep track of these
two things each day and when the class has spelled either Perfect
Attendance or No Tardies, we do an all-school cheer during our morning
greeting on Fridays.

• I needed a new method of keeping track of both Perfect Attendance and No
Tardies, so I am using this small banner with a clothes spin and my “Teacher’s
Assistant” will record all Perfect Attendance and No Tardies. Once we
complete one, I send the principal a note with the cheer we want and we celebrate
it at Morning Greeting.
Have your class Spell out “Perfect Attendance” by marking each day that you have perfect attendance.:
• Use a clothespin to mark where you are in spelling out “Perfect Attendance”. Once you spell out “Perfect
Attendance”,
• Celebrate with a class cheer, or school cheer.
Have your class Spell out “No Tardies” by marking each day that you have perfect attendance.:
• Use a clothespin to mark where you are in spelling out “Perfect Attendance”. Once you spell out “Perfect
Attendance”,
• Celebrate with a class cheer, or school cheer.
• You can also have students color the words as the class has Perfect Attendance and No Tardies.
