With roads of light
lining the endless sky
The night shall shine
and none shall be lost
With cars of red
buses of yellow
trucks of white
all in a random yet ordered manner
I see it
A lone star
in the highest place
Away from the traffic
shining for the ones below
Us and us only
Vanished with the night
I wait for its reappearance
Only to see it no more ever again
Shattered into pieces
scattered around everywhere
shining for the ones who look at the ground
Them and them only
Shining for the lost
despite the bright night
Shining for the broken
despite the peaceful night
With a shattered star
planted on the endless ground
