Directions: There are many careers within healthcare that require the ability to observe a patient, take vitals and
determine if there is a threat that must be tended to immediately. Complete the following with a partner. You
may use textbooks or a chromebook as a resource.
1. Pretend that you are a patient who is seeing the doctor for a specific illness. Describe to your partner what
types of symptoms you are feeling. (YOU create this scenario!) Have your partner write down your symptoms
on his/her sheet and you do the same for them… HAVE FUN!
