Our Nervous System
The nervous system is like a network that relays messages
back and forth from the brain to different parts of the
body.
These messages allow you to do things like walk, think, feel,
be scared, and even breathe.
The brain is the central computer that controls all the
functions of your body.

Brain control all of our body function by

Spinal cord is made of many nerves that
carries messages to and from the brain

Neurons made of Dendrite, cell body and
axon.
The nervous system is made of
many nerve cells called Neurons.
Neurons joined together form a network in
our body to send and receive messages
through spinal cord .

When someone tap on my shoulder …
✘ Receptors in the skin sense touch or other stimuli
✘ Sensory neurons transmit the touch message
✘ Information is sorted and interpreted in the brain. A response
determined by interneuron (brain & spinal cord)
✘ Motor neurons transmit a response messages to shoulder
muscles
✘ Shoulder muscles are activated, causing the head turn

Functions

To control all of our body function
We can detect when we are hungry, then our brain make
decision to eat. Also we know when we’re full and our body detect what
we have eaten and the release of substances need for digest the food
✘
Control reaction
When we playing football, our eyes see the ball come closer so
they send a messages to brain. Then our brains send messages to our
muscles to make our legs move to kick the ball.

Common illness of the nervous systems
1. Alzheimer’s disease
2. Epilepsy
Abnormal tissues and nerves in
brains, it’s effect poor memory,
thinking and reasoning.
Seizures in nervous system that
make loss of consciousness,
muscle contraction

Urinary systems is groups of organs that eliminate
waste from the body, regulate blood and removes
excess fluids from our blood as urines.
