Dear Parents/Guardian
Thank you for the opportunity to work with your child this academic year. My name is Laila
Mahmudah and I’ll be teaching Biology for grade 7. I’m excited to collaborate with your child to
ensure a positive and successful academic outcome for them.
Biology is very challenging courses where students are required to investigate problems, learn more
about the world around them and understand and use scientific explanations for a wide range of
phenomena. Students develop research, collaboration and creative skills that will help with many
aspects of their future learning and development. The course supports progression to a wide range of
science subjects at Cambridge Upper Secondary. I hope your son/daughter will be successful in their
study this year and will instill good study habits that will last a lifetime.
Hopefully, you both have read and signed the syllabus contract. Please review the attached syllabus,
sign and return the agreement that states you have read and understood the course and its
requirements. If you have any questions regarding your child’s education, behavior, or progress you
can reach me through email at l.mahmudah@kbs.sch.id
Sincerely,
Laila Mahmudah
