Dr. Santosh Sonar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and
Instrumentation Engineering. He received his Bachelor and Masters degree in Electrical
Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur, West Bengal. He has
completed his PhD at Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand in the year 2014.He
has joined TU in August 2013. He has ten years of teaching and one year of Industrial
experience till June 2020. His main research interests are in the areas of Power Electronics
and drives (z-source inverters, converters , SMPS Design,PWM Techniques).
