behind growth in these national markets and will transform their market share from their currently
negligible levels into significant figures in the market. Nonetheless, this should not be taken to
represent that they will provide comparative levels of spending to the leading UGV markets of
today: the US and Israel are expected to continue to dominate the global UGV market to a
significant extent.

7. Expert Opinion
7.1 Mr. Vjekoslav Majetić, owner and Member of the Management
Board of DOK-ING
7.1.1 DOK-ING’s Position Attributed to Demining Systems
Visiongain: Could you tell me about DOK-ING’s position in the Military UGV and Robotics market
and how you forecast this in the next few years?
Mr Vjekoslav Majetić: The good position DOK-ING has in this market is earned by our demining
systems MV-4 and MV-10 which were supplied to several major armies in the world such as USA,
Sweden, Australia, etc. Presently DOK-ING still meets 60% of these market requirements.
Since the economy is unpredictable in the next few years, the market should also be volatile when
demining is concerned, and we are not sure if the demand is going to be as strong as in previous
years.
7.1.2 Falling Demining Demand
VG: What products and services are seeing the greatest demand currently and do you expect this
to continue?
VM: At this moment the demining products and services are still in demand, but we do expect
decline in demand in the future years. At the same time we expect the rise of demand for other
products, especially the C-IED, EOD equipment that we can supply as well.
7.1.3 Seeking New Markets
VG: What are DOK-ING’s strongest national or regional markets?
VM: The strongest markets are US and Russia, but we are always trying to open the new markets,
and to commercialize new products offering them on the already known markets.

Description
MV-4

MV-10

8.2.1.1 MV-4
The MV-4 robotic demining machine relies on the force of the impact of its flail attachment tool to
destroy anti-personnel mines. The machine is remotely controlled by an operator inside an
armoured vehicle or positioned at a safe distance. The MV-4’s engine and other critical
components are protected by steel armoured plates. DOK-ING stated in December 2009 that its
MV-4 had been exported to 24 countries.
In May 2011, DOK-ING stated that it had delivered four MV-4 systems to the Swedish Defence
Materiel Administration for use by the Swedish Armed Forces on demining operations under a
contract reportedly worth $2.3m.
8.2.1.2 MV-10
The MV-10 is a robotic demining system which is designed to clear terrain of anti-personnel mines,
anti-tank mines and unexploded ordnance. The MV-10 uses a flail and rotating tiller to activate and
clear explosive devices. The system is highly robust and able to work in almost all conditions. The
MV-10 is heaver than the MV-4, weighing 20tons. The Australian army has procured a minimum of
8 systems, while the Lithuanian military is currently using one system.
