Gabriel INTRODUCTION Welcome to online class of Computer Systems Servicing NCII with the unit of competency entitled: “Install and Configure Computer Systems”. This course covers the outcomes required in installing and configuring desktop and workstation computers systems. It consists of competencies to assemble computer hardware, install operating system and drivers for peripherals/devices, and install application software as well as to conduct testing and documentation. OBJECTIVES At the end of this module, you should be able to: Learning Outcome 1: 1. Plan and prepare Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures. 2. Obtain materials necessary to complete the work. 3. Obtain tools, equipment, and testing devices needed to carry out the installation work. 4.
