I made an effort to talk to those involved to stop the practice immediately before reporting it to the manager. I once made a mistake at work by extending my leave for 2 business days. It was caused by unavoidable circumstances. I called my immediate supervisor and explained the situation. The outcome was a warning from the manager stating that in future I should make my plans known in advance. 8. There was a time I was tasked with marketing and selling kitchen products, specifically equipment away from the establishment. I was faced with numerous opportunities to overprice the products to unsuspecting clients and manipulate records. 9. The coworker was under immense financial difficulty with a family and parents in a nursing home. The customer did not appear bothered paying the bill twice, although unknowingly. They were doing this in order to minimize use and steal supplies from the stores. On that particular day, customers were to be served with the previous day’s food which was clearly rancid. The supervisor asked me to keep quiet about it promising to cut me in. I respectfully expressed by displeasure and immediately reported the matter to the manager. I responded in that manner because it was unethical. The practice was hazardous to the health of customers and involved stealing from the establishment threatening the existence of my source of income and that of my coworkers and employer.
