PROJECT: LET’S GO SHOPPING
7º GRADE 2017
Instructions and Preparation
 The teacher will divide the class in pairs.
 Each pair is going to get a different shop
and you will create a dialogue between a
seller and a costumer.
 The dialogue will be written and prepared
during class time, on Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday this week.

 The dialogue will be presented next
Thursday (June 22nd) during class time.
 This project is a Quiz grade.
 The pairs will act out the dialogue
WITHOUT reading the script.
 They need to be dressed accordingly. Ex:
Chemist – Apron / Sportshop-Sport

Specifications
 The dialogue must be about a person who goes to a
shop looking for something to buy (a present,
medicine, clothes, a magazine, etc.).
 Each person of the pair needs to speak at least 10
times.
 In the dialogue you MUST include the use of present
simple and continuous, vocabulary about shops and
questions to help you shopping (book
pg.23 “Functions”)
Specifications
 You will have 2 hours to write the script, considering
revision time (show it to the teacher for corrections).
 You have between 1-2 hours to practice the
presentation.
Example: « At the Bookstore »
• Seller: Good morning! Can I help you?
• Amy: Hello, yes. I am looking for a book.
• Seller: You’ve come to the right place then. What
kind of book are you looking for?
• Amy: mmm… have you got comic books?
• Seller: Certainly, right this way. This Mafalda comic is
one the most popular ones.
• Amy: Great! How much is it?
NO EXCUSES IF:
1. Your friend is absent one day or the day of
presentation.
2. Your friend is absent, YOU CAN work alone.
YOUR WORK DOESN’T depend on your friend’s
attendance.
3. You come to the day of the presentation without
knowing the dialogue or the appropiate clothes.
4. Your friend is absent the day of the
presentation, you can do it anyway!!!!
