The purpose of this book is to fulfill the needs of the students of Arabic language in UiTM which comprises of three levels for the degree seeking students. Moreover, this module can also be used for students and Arabic language enthusiast, especially for beginners and intermediate levels who are interested to study the language for conversation purposes. This Arabic language module is conceived from the efforts of improving and updating the Arabic language text book for UiTM’s degree level (al-Ra’id) which was previously used as the main reference. It was used as the main text book for Arabic language learning in UiTM since the year 2007 till now. This latest book encompasses 5 main topics for each level. This book is also written based on basic st topics in daily conversations. Each topic contains 2 dialogues with regards to the topics from the 1 th lesson to the 5 and final lesson. It is presented with the inclusion of introduction to vocabularies, dialogues, sentence structures, listening exercises, class activities, compact dictionary as reference to the related topics and also assignments and relevant exercises. The book contains audio recordings of conversations and text readings in Arabic with the purpose of aiding students in learning the language independently and also to promote self-centered learning among students. Such initiatives are the first in UiTM since the university was established. Furthermore, this book was conjectured wholly by the authors and UiTM Shah Alam’s very own Arabic Language lecturers. Additionally, this book uses the transliteration system that acts as guidance for slow learners and non-muslim students. It is worth noting that, several topics selected by the authors were not transliterated in order to encourage students to read in original Arabic scripts. We would also like to thank the authors of Arabic Language I and Arabic Language II who have assisted in the making of this book. Our special thanks also goes to fellow colleagues from UiTM’s Arabic Language unit who have also contributed their ideas in developing this book. Tujuan buku ini dihasilkan sebagai memenuhi keperluan pelajar-pelajar bahasa Arab UiTM peringkat ijazah yang merangkumi tiga tahap. Di samping itu buku ini juga boleh digunakan oleh para pelajar dan pencinta bahasa Arab terutamanya di peringkat asas dan pertengahan yang ingin mendalami bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa komunikasi. Buku bahasa Arab ini merupakan hasil dari usaha penambahbaikan dan pengemaskinian buku teks bahasa Arab peringkat ijazah UiTM (al-Ra’id) yang digunakan sebagai buku rujukan utama sebelum ini. Ianya telah dijadikan buku teks bagi pembelajaran bahasa Arab di UiTM sejak tahun 2007 sehingga kini. Buku ini mengandungi 5 topik utama bagi setiap tahap. Modul ini ditulis mengikut situasi tajuk-tajuk asas dalam komunikasi harian. Kandungan bagi setiap tajuk mengandungi 2 dialog yang berkaitan dengan tajuk utama iaitu dari pelajaran pertama sehingga pelajaran kelima. Ianya dipersembahkan dengan memuatkan pengenalan kosa kata, dialog, struktur pengukuhan, latihan mendengar, aktiviti dalam kelas, kamus kecil sebagai rujukan yang berkaitan tajuk dan tugasan serta latihan yang berkaitan. Buku ini mempunyai rakaman audio perbualan dan bacaan teks bahasa Arab bertujuan membantu semua pelajar mempelajari bahasa Arab secara kendiri. Ini adalah yang pertama kalinya dilakukan di UiTM sejak ianya ditubuhkan. Apa yang istimewanya ialah, usaha murni ini telah dilakukan sendiri oleh penulis-penulis modul dan para pensyarah bahasa Arab UiTM Shah Alam. Buku ini turut menggunakan sistem transliterasi sebagai panduan kepada pelajar yang lemah dalam menguasai huruf Arab dan pelajar bukan Islam.
