At Marico, it’s a flatter structure with only a few hierarchy levels. At topmost level is Mr.
Harsh Mariwala, followed by CEO and MD Saugat Gupta. This is followed by CFO, CEO,
CTO, COO CMO and Chief Human Resources Officer as mentioned above,
They work as separate units having their own functional Sales, Marketing and HR and each
vertical has their own Chief Executive Officers who meet up regularly to discuss the
strategies and results.
The transfer across department is guided by the requirement in the teams and member’s
interests are also taken into account.
Similar to other companies, Marico also senses the importance of enjoyment at work. They
conduct events regularly and celebrate festivals by organizing competitions on those days.
They also have regular performance appraisals and also group training programs to adapt to
recent changes in the industry.
