AWIHAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

EVENT: VOLLEYBALL
The Annual Cluster Meet was held on September 6-7, 2019 at Awihao National High
School. One of the sports events that we participated in was Volleyball. It was held at the
Volleyball Court of Sitio Dakit, Awihao, Toledo City.
The event started at 8:00 of September 6 th. Several games were played under the
scorching heat of the sun. In the morning, we finished 2 games. In the afternoon, another 2 games
were played.
The next day, September 7th, the volleyball championship was played at around 9 AM.
Since there was only one game left to play on that morning, the officiating officials decided to start
late that morning. During the championship game between Luray Barangay High School and Bato
National High School, people were shouting as the rally continued in each set. But Bato NHS
capped the championship title even if Luray II BHS has a twice-to-beat advantage.
The Matab-ang NHS Boys’ Volleyball Team only fought for 3rd place in their match against
Awihao National High School. But they eventually lost to their opponent in their last match.
The Awarding took place at the Awihao NHS Stage after the Championship game.
