QUEEN ELIZABETH I
Elisabeth I was born on 7th September in 1533.
Her father was Henry VIII, mother - Anna Boleyn
Elisabeth was the princess of Wales.
EARLY LIFE

Elizabeth could
write English, Latin,
and Italian. Under a
talented and skilful
tutor, she also
progressed in
French and Greek.
She was one of the
best educated
women of her
generation.

After the death of
Mary I, Elizabeth
took the throne.
By the time of
occupation of the
throne Elizabeth
was 25 years.
January 25,
1559, opened the
first Parliament of
Elizabeth.

Elizabeth and her favourite, Robert Dudley, Earl of
Leicester. The Queen's friendship with Dudley
lasted for over thirty years, until his death.

DEATH

The Queen's health
remained fair until the
autumn of 1602. In
March, Elizabeth fell
sick .She died on 24
March 1603 at
Richmond Palace,
between two and three
in the morning.

Elizabeth was buried in
Westminster Abbey in a
tomb she shares with her
half-sister, Mary.
