The Alchemist Group Research Project With a partner, you will create a six-minute Prezi presentation on any of the topics listed below. To put together your presentation, you will have to conduct different types of research so you can become an expert on your topic. You will also create a works cited page in MLA format on your three research sources. Half of your grade will be based on your product and presentation, and the other half of your grade will be based on the quality of your works cited page and resources. I’ve included a rubric with information on how you will be graded on the product/presentation and rubric. This project will count as a test grade. You will also grade your own work and the efforts of your partner, and this will count as a homework grade . Keep in mind that both partners have to help research and present the project. Information can be considered scholarly or non-scholarly. Scholarly information is information that has been backed and reviewed by experts in that field, so it is a more reliable form of information. Scholarly information is easily found in books, scholarly journals, and search engines like Google Scholar and library databases. Non-scholarly information is information that has not been reviewed by experts in that field, and so it may not be correct. You will need to have at least three sources (books, websites, magazine or journal articles, videos, diary entries, etc.) for your presentation, and all of your sources need to be scholarly. As soon as you find your sources, immediately create the works cited page. Types of sources 1. At least one internet source 2.
