COURSE DESCRIPTION
: This course deals with concepts, principles, theories, and techniques in the nursing care of the risk
or high or sick clients during childbearing and childrearing years toward health promotion,
disease prevention, restoration and maintenance and rehabilitation.
OUTCOME OF
SIGNIFICANCE
: The Learners are expected to apply the concepts learned in providing safe, appropriate and holistic nursing
care to childbearing and childrearing utilizing the nursing process. Learners are likewise expected to
demonstrate competence in nursing care for mother and child with risk or problems
