Who is GOD?
GOD is usually defined as, having the form of a spirit without any
human biological gender, .i.e. the Catechism of the Catholic
Church #239 specifically states that…
 "GOD is neither man nor woman, …
He is GOD"
 The Scripture makes it clear that GOD is not the personal Father of all
humankind, but…
He is the Father only to those who believe in him!
Can we describe the qualities of GOD?
We cannot summarise as He is so vast, because He can create the
COMPLETE UNIVERSE! And tiny Nuclear which when blasted can
blowout, COMPLETE UNIVERSE …
Only to name a few of GOD's characteristics, as…
Omnipotence,
Omniscience, and
Omnipresence.
Omni in Latin, means ‘All.'
Omnipotence, Omniscience, and Omnipresence
Omnipotence means All-powerful. GOD has supreme power.
This means GOD can do what he wants, He is not subject to
physical limitations like man, GOD's power is unlimited, meaning
it’s limitless.
Omniscience means All-knowing. GOD is all-knowing, In the
sense that he is aware of the past, present, and future of You and
All. He knows everything, even you are thinking. Now!
Omnipresence means All-present. This term means that GOD is
present everywhere at the same time. Even near you, Now!
GOD THEE FATHER … and humans!
 GOD is addressed as the Father, because of his active interest in
human affairs, in the way that a father would take an interest in
his children who are dependent on him,
 The intimate relationship a father has to his children is
experienced only by those who believe in Him as Father.
 GOD thee Father is the Supreme designer. While, Jesus is His
Child!
 He uses creation as much FOR HIS PURPOSE and DESIGN but
provision is given to each of HIS CREATION to enjoy WITHIN its
LIMITS.

How many of us are bothered till now, to care for His

Wrath of GOD
 He warns us of the consequences of disobedience. Everything else He said
came about as He directed. Man should also have also followed the direction of
GOD's Words.
 The wrath of GOD has fallen on hard times.
 In today’s world, any thought of GOD’s wrath upsets our modern sentiments.
As it’s too intolerant.
 We live in a day where we have set ourselves as the judge and GOD’s character
is on trial. “How can hell be just?”
 “Why does GOD always seem so angry?”
 Right thinking is MIND is needed about the Doctrine of GOD’s wrath.
 It is needed for motivation for Christian living, fuel for proper Our worship!
GOD’s wrath is His love in action against
sin.

This is counter-intuitive, but hear me fully...
GOD IS LOVE! that’s why you and I are alive! TILL DATE.
Therefore, GOD rules the world in such a way that it is just
This means that, GOD must act impartially and judge sin (i.e.
respond with wrath) otherwise GOD would not be GOD.
Admittedly, GOD’s love is just, a most serious reality for many
and not good news for sinners.
It is after all, “A fearful thing to fall into the hands of the

It has become common for many to argue that the GOD of the Old
Testament is a Moral friend .i.e. Always advising us not to sin.
In fact, GOD’s wrath is said to be in perfect accord with GOD’s justice.
“If you say, ‘Behold, we did not know this,’
Does not, He who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will He not
repay you according to YOUR work?”
GOD’s wrath, is directly proportional to human
SINFULNESS…
While GOD’s wrath, inversely proportional to human
REPENTANCE
GOD’s wrath is pleased by Christ.
How?
Here we have the ultimate good news: “Jesus Christ came into the
world to save sinners”
How?
 Who are Sinners? Refer, Exodus 20 verses 1 to 17…
 …nor serve them: for I the LORD thy GOD am a vengeful GOD, visiting
the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation of them that hate me; (Exodus 20 : 5)
 Till Jesus came People assumed that, for Grand Parents SINS,
grand children had to bear it without any Option!...

 But, Jesus gave a new perspective to this commandment, by explaining despite
the fact that We, are the Children of third and fourth generation of Sinners we
still have hope if we Repent from our OWN ways, And NOT TO FOLLOW OUR
GRANDPARENTS!
Why are we suffering then?

What is Repentance?




Real repentance is an inner change of heart that
produces the fruits of new behavior.
Performing differently, from your existing lifestyle.
Speaking differently, from your existing lifestyle.
and living differently (these are the fruits) are the to be
expected outward result of being made completely
different on the inside (that’s repentance).
What is true repentance?
 When Jesus said “Repent,” He was talking about a change of heart
toward sin, the world, and GOD;
 An inner change that gives rise to new ways of living that praises GOD.
It is a desire to change your mind to turn away from your sins and
take a new path that pleases GOD.
 We cannot be praying as many Children pray, “Lord, change my
Parents/Brother/Sister… so that our life will be better.” No, we must be
praying, “Lord, start with me and change me.”
 Change will NOT take place unless we are willing for it to begin with
ourselves.
Now tell me, Is this true Repentance?




We live in a cycle of sinning and confessing?
Is this true repentance?
Can those who often sin and do not truly repent
be qualified to enter the Kingdom of GOD?

GOD’s wrath is consistent in both…

It is common to think of the Old Testament GOD as harsh, and wrath-filled,
While the GOD of the New Testament as kind, patient, and loving.
Neither of these portraits are representative of Scripture’s wrath of GOD.
We find immensely fearful descriptions of the wrath of GOD in both the Old and
the New Testament. Here are just a few examples:

Objective

God is the Creator of all things. Genesis tells that a personal, all-knowing,
all-powerful God created everything that exists!
Genesis tells us that we are, one human family going back to Adam and Eve,
and made in the divine image.
That person over there that you are thinking of as less than human is
actually your cousin. We are all related to each other,
What if we took the teaching of Genesis seriously in the area of
international relations and conflict resolution?
I think if we saw ourselves as one family with each person made in God’s
image we would be more prone to work it out and slower to resort to

What is The Bible?
 The written "covenants" between God and the people, as contained in the "Old Testament"
and/or the "New Testament"
 The Bible is the account of GOD’s action in this world, and his purpose with all creation from
past 6000 years?
 An authorized collection of scriptures (WRITING). We usually think this as one "book"; but it is
really a whole "library," a compilation of many different books of various literary generations
 . The word comes from the Greek τὰ βιβλία (ta biblia), which is a plural word meaning "books“
 Actually, one should always ask, "Whose Bible?" - because the Jewish Bible, the Catholic Bible, the

What is the purpose of Genesis?



The purpose of Genesis is to teach us a new golden rule: “We all
are GOD's children.”
YHWH alone, is worthy of their worship and faithfulness. The
creation narrative explains that YHWH is not just any GOD, but is
Our Creator.
Even from the first moments of the existence of the universe,
YHWH was in control and had a plan for humanity as a whole and
specifically for YOU.
The Book of Genesis







The book of Genesis is GOD’s book of beginnings. Not found anywhere else!
It was written by Moses probable while he was in the wilderness.
It covers over half the history of the OT from the creation roughly from about
4000 BC to 1700 BC.
This first book found in our Bible is its very important because it is the
foundation on which all future books rely upon.
It is the only reliable book that we have that teaches us the origin of the heavens
and earth and all the life that can’t be found any book anywhere in the world.
It mainly records the history of one family, one race and one nation(Children of
God).
The main theme of Genesis is Human need for release from sin.

Genesis CHAPTERs 1 to 11





The first part of Genesis (ch1 to ch11) tells about creation and
the human race up to the time of Abraham.
Everything GOD created was GOOD!
but the first two human beings, Adam and Eve, disobeyed and
brought evil into the world.
People became so sinful that GOD decided to send a flood to kill
everyone except a man named Noah and his family.
He and his Family worshiped GOD, and so GOD told them to
build a large boat to save themselves and a few of each kind of
animals and birds. After the flood, people again spread out over
the earth, and most of them stopped worshiping GOD.
Genesis CHAPTERs 12-50
The rest of the book of Genesis (Ch 12-50) contains the story of Abram and his
family.
 GOD also changed Abram's name to Abraham and the name of Abram's wife
Sarai to Sarah. Abraham and his wife Sarah had no children, but GOD promised
that they would have a child.
 Abraham and Sarah moved to Canaan, the land that GOD had promised to give
their descendants.
 Abraham and Sarah had a son, Isaac when they were very old. Isaac later had
two sons, Jacob and Esau.
 As the book concludes, Jacob's twelve sons and their families are living in
Egypt. One of these brothers, Joseph, had become the governor of Egypt.


GOD Commands the Creation
Gen 1:1
First of all,
GOD made Heaven and Earth out
of nothing.
The earth had no shape and was empty. Darkness covered the water on the earth and the
Spirit of God hovered over the waters.
GOD Commands the Creation
All that is in the world, the universe and all things in it
were created directly by GOD out of His formal
authorization.
1:3 “And GOD said, “Let there be light: and there was
light.”
And God said ‘Let there be light!’ And there was light.
Light on the first day! From where?





This light comes from a source other than the sun—As
the sun isn’t created, yet. Then, How?
God is all-powerful and can create things simply by
speaking them into existence.
It cannot be the light that we are familiar with, the light
emanating from the sun and the stars.
Is this “Hidden Light Now” Too pure? for the current
state of the universe,
God has concealed it for a future, more deserving world?
God separated
the light from the darkness. .
He called the light DAY
and the darkness, He called NIGHT.
This was the first day of the creation.
GOD is the Author and Originator of Light
Genesis 1:2-3
The light was made before either the sun or moon was
created, therefore we must point that to the Creator.
Light is in fact an attribute of GOD and GOD’s handiwork
and that which could only belong to GOD
GOD is always the source of this light but…
Mankind, before his new birth, always walks in
darkness…
Only after REPENTING…He finds this LIGHT!

between the waters on earth and the waters

This was the second day of the creation.

Though, the waters existed prior to the creating the life
and it had been already divided
So that the creatures could have a place to live and
multiply, both land and Water creatures.
Firmament Heaven Genesis 1:8
 “And GOD called the Firmament Heaven . And the evening and
the morning were the second day.”
 The firmament apparently is what is called, Second Heaven and
is the region of the air and all that is above us from the land
where we walk (Atmosphere!)
 Why were the waters divided?
God saw it was all good.
This then was the third day of the creation.

Note, The food for both man and beast and fowl had to be created first, so as
to sustain them… Day 3
The text appears to show that GOD created the earth in a mature state
because the herbs were already yielding seed and the trees were already
bearing fruits

Then why do scientists date the earth 3.7 billion years old?

Sinful mankind always attempts, unsuccessfully, to explain away GOD.

From the text we do know that it’s only by the power of GOD’s word that

He made the earth to be fruitful and to already be bearing fruit and seed.

He didn’t have to wait for them to mature and come to seed or to bear fruit.

God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven
to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for
seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven
to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day,
and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light
upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night,
and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
Two great lights Gen 1:16
 Weren’t these “Great lights” already made before verse 16?
 What is the “lesser light” that is to rule the night?
 These are the sun and the moon, and here, GOD speaks as how a
man would judge by his eye because the sufficiency of the light
rules by day (the greater light) as instruments appointed for the
purpose of mankind.
 The lesser light which was made to rule the night is the moon
and naturally “the stars also.”
 Lights for Seasons ??
Then God spoke again and He created the sun to give light in the day and the moon to give
light in the evening. He also made all the stars.
This was the fourth day of the creation.

They were to take care of all the animals and the plants and flowers. God saw that all He had
made was very good.

GOD Creates Man in His Own Image
Gen 1:26-28
 Why does Moses write that GOD said “Let’s make man in our image?
 What does it mean to be in the image of GOD since GOD is Spirit? Why were
humans created after His own likeness and what does this likeness mean?
 GOD created us in, HIS righteousness and true holiness.
 We are originally, before the fall into Sin, are in “the likeness of GOD in true
righteousness and holiness.”
 When a person is born again after Holy Communion, there is a “new self,
created after the likeness of GOD in true righteousness and holiness”
 Are we LIVING like what we were created?
Eve made from Adam’s rib, why RIB?

Was GOD was a taking something from Adam, because he
took a rib from Adam?


An excellent reply, a story about a thief breaking into her house, taking a
silver pot and leaving behind a gold pot instead.
Are you still expressing envy at such a take away?

Reply, “Was it not, then, a splendid thing for the first man when a single rib
was lost, taken from him and a full woman to care for him for life was
supplied instead?” …

“What GOD hath joined together let not man separate.” Matthew 19:6

How could GOD tell the creatures to “be fruitful and to
multiply” unless He had created them with that
productiveness?
That is, it is by the virtue of His spoken word that He gave
the ability to His creatures to reproduce.
GOD never commands what He first does not enable.
Are we Multiplying or killing?
Now do we understand why we are suffering?
Creation was GOOD



The simple truth of the creation story is that GOD is
the author of creation.
GOD was very pleased with his creation. Six times
throughout the process of creating, GOD stopped,
On final inspection of all that he had made, GOD
regarded it as "very good”
This is a great time to remind ourselves that we are
part of GOD's creation and we are very good.
Does It Matter That GOD Called HIS Creation "Very
Good"? Genesis 1:10, 12, 18, 25
As we look at the first five days of creation in Genesis, the
phrase “And GOD saw that it was good” is repeated up four
times…
 And at the end of the sixth day we read, GOD saw all that he had
made, and it was very good (Genesis 1:31).
 In this entire creation, from the smallest subatomic particles to
the largest galaxies spinning in space, everything works exactly
as HE planned, except...HUMANS!
 IS THAT THE REASON FOR OUR SUFFERING?
On the seventh day, GTF rested.
GOD THEE FATHER, still LOVES YOU!
 One of the most important themes of Genesis is GOD's love for humans and his involvement
in our lives even today. Otherwise, How will your…
 Heart beats exactly 72 times per minute only to maintain pressure required to
circulate about 5.6 liters of blood.
 This 5.6 liters of blood circulates through Our body three times every minute.
 In one day, the blood travels a total of 19,000 km, that is, You can Travel to USA and
come travel back by 30% (13595 km is the distance from India to USA)
 We usually breathe about 12-20 times per minute meaning, inhales and exhales about 7 or
8 liters of air per minute. That totals about 11,000 liters of air per day.


Man was created by GOD to rule over His creation:
Then GOD said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let

And GOD created man in His own image, in the image of GOD He created him; male
and female He created them. And GOD blessed them; and GOD said to them,
“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the
sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the
earth.” Then GOD said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on
the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be
food for you; and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every
thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”;
“What's in a NATURE?…” Gen1:28
And GOD blessed them. And GOD said to them,
“Be fruitful and multiply
Was it a necessary for blessing them to be able to “be
fruitful and multiply and fill the earth?”
GOD blessed who exactly? Was it the creatures or
mankind or both?
As we are interdependent!
Original intent for His creation
Here we find the first hint of GOD’s original intent for his
creation.
The purpose of GOD’s creation is…
Perform according to specification or SUFFER!
 AS ALL OTHER CREATIONS ARE PERFORMING! According what
they are made for…
After their kind??? Genesis 1…





Can you understand the IMPACT? Otherwise!
GOD declares what He has created as “good” but what does it
mean that everything was created “after their kind?”
Otherwise, the fish would have given birth to the fowls as
both have beginning on the same day!?
The fish and fowls had both one beginning, in which we see
that nature gives place to GOD’s will, in that the one sort is

Perhaps these now-illegal substances did not exist until after the
ground was cursed (Gen 3:17) and only came to be after the curse
like the thorns and thistles (Gen 3:18) but is Planting them again
and again, ONLY AFTER NOAH FLOOD?

 Finally; we see that GOD breathed into man the breath of life so GOD is
the Author of OUR LIFE.

Biblical creationism identifies God. Our culture today is
confused over the meaning of the word GOD.
In today’s culture, God could mean a set of moral standards,
or an idea, or the universe itself, on an individual such as …,
or even each individual himself.
I seldom use the word GOD, because it has lost its meaning.
Instead I use the word GTF. Generally people understand this
word and concept.


The first verse of the Bible identifies who God is. He is the
Creator, not an idea, not a moral standard, etc.; He is the
Creator. All of Scripture agrees and supports that point.
The second point is that creation identifies man. Man is not
just a body, a stack of chemicals, as it were, which arrived by
natural processes. Yes, man does have a body, but he also has
a mind and a spirit (Genesis 1:26-27 says, ‘And God said, Let
us make man in our image, after our likeness: Man is in the
personality image of the Creator.


The third point is that creation is the basis of the Gospel. Man
was created perfect, but in Genesis 3 we have the account of
the Fall. Man was tempted to substitute his own autonomous
truth standard for the Creator’s absolute. Up until the Fall, the
Creator’s Word was the test and standard for truth. The
Creator said, ‘Don’t eat this fruit.’
As a result, death came into the universe. Death is abnormal.

The Earth is an organism that reflects the creative power of God. It burns energy, regulates temperature, renews its skin, and undergoes age-related changes to its surface over time.



There are about 3 trillion trees on Earth, or 422 trees per person.


examined diamonds that evolutionists consider to be 1–2 billion years old and
related to the earth’s early history.
Diamonds are the hardest known substance and extremely resistant to contamination
through chemical exchange.
Yet the RATE scientists discovered significant detectable levels of radiocarbon in
these diamonds, dating them at around 55,000 years—a far cry
from the evolutionary billions!

The gravitational pull of the moon creates a “tidal bulge” on earth that causes the
moon to spiral outwards very slowly.
Because of this effect, the moon would have been closer to the earth in the past.
Based on gravitational forces and the current rate of recession, we can calculate
how much the moon has moved away over time.
If the earth is only 6,000 years old, there’s no problem, because in that time the
moon would have only moved about 800 feet (250 m).
But most astronomy books teach that the moon is over four billion years old, which
poses a major dilemma—
In less than 1.5 billion years ago the moon would have been touching the
earth!

Like other planets, the earth has a magnetic field that is decaying quite rapidly.
We are now able to measure the rate at which the magnetic energy is being

field could have lasted over such a long period of time, but this model fails to
adequately explain the data for the rapid decay and the rapid reversals that it has
undergone in the past
However, the creationist model (based on the Genesis Flood) effectively and simply
explains the data in regard to the earth’s magnetic field, providing striking evidence

when the sediments have not yet fully hardened.

strata that have been tightly folded, without evidence of the sediments being heated.
This is a major problem for evolutionists who believe these rock layers were laid down
gradually over vast eons of time, forming the geologic record. However, it makes
perfect sense to creationists who believe these layers were formed rapidly in the
global, catastrophic Flood described in Genesis.
Does the age of the earth really matter?
While each of these evidences reveals reasons why the earth cannot be billions of
years old, the real issue is not the age of the earth.
Instead, the real issue is authority. God’s dependable Word must be our ultimate
authority, not the unstable foundation of human reasoning.
Are we trying to fit our interpretations of the world (e.g., evolution) into Scripture, or
will we simply let God speak for Himself through His Word?

As far as is known, life exists only on Earth. Most life-forms reside in a thin sphere that
extends about 23 km (14 miles) from 3 km (2 miles) beneath the bottom of the ocean to the
top of the troposphere (lower atmosphere); the relative thickness is comparable to a coat of
paint on a rubber ball. An estimated 10–30 million distinguishable species currently inhabit
this sphere of life, or biosphere.
