Australian Work and Holiday Visa 462 is for
young and curious people those who are fond
of traveling and exploring new places also
want to work in Australia. People who are from
the United States and are aged between 18
and 30 years can travel and work in Australia
for up to 12 months. This Visa subclass 462 is
a temporary visa, you can leave and re-enter
Australia as many times as you want in the
period of 12 months.
How Long You Can Stay
This is a temporary visa, you must enter Australia
within 12 months of the date visa granted. Time
of the Visa Subclass 462 can’t extend in any case.
The visa becomes active on the date you enter
Australia, Once you have entered and the visa is
activated. You can’t stay longer in Australia by
exceeding this visa, if you want to stay longer
you could apply for the second Work and Holiday
Visa if you are eligible.
To be eligible for a second Work and
Holiday visa, you must:
• comply with the conditions of your first
working holiday visa 462
• do at least 3 months (88 calendar days) of specified Visa
Subclass 462 work
• be aged up to 30 years (inclusive) when you apply for your
second visa
• have not previously held more than one Work and Holiday
visa

applications in 53 days. Your application might take longer to
process if:
• you don’t fill it correctly• you don’t include all the
documents properly
