prevention habits, including vaccination,
helps limit the spread of antibiotic-resistant
microorganisms and prevents the misuse or
excessive use of antimicrobials

Start by wetting your
hands
Apply some soap
carefully
Rub your hands palm to
palm
Lather the back of your
hands
Scrub between your
fingers
Rub the back of your
opposing palms’ fingers

Clean your thumbs
repeatedly
Clean your fingernails
and fingertips
Rinse your hands
thoroughly
Dry them with a
disposable hand towel
Use the towel to turn off
the faucet
Your hands are now
clean!

ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL
Kills microorganisms and prevents their expansion
TEA TREE OIL
Has good antibacterial and antiviral properties
LAVENDER OIL
Has good antibacterial and antiviral properties
SWEETBRIAR ROSE OIL
Improves the scent when combined with lemon,
orange blossom, eucalyptus or essential oils.
ALOE VERA GEL
Reduces the effects of isopropyl alcohol on the skin
A 100 ml PLASTIC BOTTLE
Is portable and can be carried easily (sprayer is
optional)
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR OWN HAND SANITIZER
Add 8 tablespoons of aloe
vera gel into a glass bowl
Add 16 drops of tea tree oil
& 10 drops of lavender oil

Add 6 tablespoons (90 ml) of
isopropyl alcohol

Pour the mix into a bottle
and close it firmly

Stir with a spoon until you
get a thick gelatinous mass
You can use this bottle
when you are not at home

The hand sanitizer must have
a concentration of at least
70% isopropyl alcohol

contain at least 30% aloe vera
for a better skin protection
