Warranty Registration / Claim
1. All entries in Formstack will be copied to SF
2. Initial Warranty Registration on Formstack
a. Customer Name
b. Customer email
c. Certified Installer
d. Installation Date
e. Car Mileage
f. VIN (https://www.autocheck.com/vehiclehistory/vin-basics)
g. Product(s) Installed
i. Type
ii. Lot #
h. Route information by email to owner and have them sign/confirm the information
below
i. They must get annual service (or revert to one/two years from last service)
ii. Limits of warranty coverage and required care for next 2 weeks and forward?
iii. Specific warranty T&C based on Products Installed
iv. Can formstack automatically send out Email reminder 330 days after
registration to get Anniversary reminder?
3. Data must go into a database that can provide monthly summary of registrations. Can we have
it all go into SF and then use SF to issue a monthly summary?
4. Warranty Registration Modifications (we need to be able to access and modify prior
registrations using part of the VIN)
a. Annual Service (confirm date since ‘last’ service is not more than 335 days)
i. Customer Name
ii. Customer email
iii. Certified Installer
iv. Installation Date
v. Car Mileage
vi. VIN
vii. Product(s) Installed
1. Type
2. Lot #
b. Transfer Warranty to New Owner
i. New Customer Name
ii. New Customer email
iii. Upload image of new vehicle registration
iv. Pay transfer fee
v. Route by email to owner to get confirmation
1. Date of last Annual Service
2. Reminder they must get annual service (or revert to one/two years from
last service)
3. Limits of warranty coverage and required care for next 2 weeks and
forward?
4. Specific warranty T&C based on Products Installed
5. Warranty Claim on Formstack
a. Reference to Initial Registration (and any modifications) via VIN
i. Customer with claim enters verify VIN
ii. Customer verify ownership in case more than one listed (This can be just a
checkbox with last name of any/all Customer Names previously added to the
Registration including original Customer Name
b. Upload current vehicle registration (proof of ownership)
c. (((I don’t know the Claim Process Yet – Coming Soon – this will be the end of the process
and will probably just involve text fields, checkboxes, and a ‘submit’ that will send the
information to SF and to an email address)))
