ATTENTION PRECAUTION STEPS FOR SHUT DOWN : - (11000 VOLTS OR 440 VOLTS) 1. INFORMED TO SUPERVISOR ABOUT THE SHUT DOWN. 2. DISCUSS WITH POWER HOUSE (FCD) ABOUT THE SHUT DOWN. 3. ISOLATE THE FAULT SECTION FROM BOTH SIDE (HT & LT). 4. VCB TO BE ‘OFF’ AS PER REQUIREMENT OF SHUT DOWN WORKS (PNO FEEDER OR REST CAMP FEEDER). 5. OPEN THE 11 KV ISOLATOR BEFORE START THE WORKS AND TO BE LOCKED PERSONALLY. 6. 11 KV 3-PHASE TO BE SHORTED BEFORE START THE HT OR LT WORKS WITH PROPER EARTHING, HT & LT LINES TO BE SHORTED WITH CHAIN ALSO. 7. HELMET, HAND GLOVES, SAFETY BELT ,ETC TO BE PUT ON BEFORE STARTING THE SHUT DOWN WORKS. 8. ALL TOOLS TO BE INSULATED. 9. BAMBOO LADDER TO BE USED AT THE TIME OF WORK. 10. CODE TO BE USED BY SHUT DOWN TAKER AND SHUT DOWN GIVER BEFORE SHUT DOWN THE POWER SUPPLY (FROM 33/11 KV SUB STATION OR LOCAL SHUT DOWN WORK), REGISTER TO BE MAINTAINED. 11. POWER SUPPLY ‘ON’ AND ‘OFF’ TO BE DEPENDED UPON THE SHUT DOWN TAKER AND SHUT DOWN GIVER TO AVOID ANY ACCIDENT. 12. BEFORE ‘ON’ THE POWER SUPPLY 3 PHASE EARTH, 3 PHASE CHAINS TO BE REMOVED, WHICH WERE PROVIDED AS SAFETY PURPOSES BEFORE STARTING THE WORKS AND LOADS TO BE ‘OFF’. 13. ELECTRICAL LOADS TO BE CHARGED STEP BY STEP. 14. GODO, ISOLATOR’S ETC LOCKS TO BE DONE PERSONALLY BY SHUT DOWN TAKER.
