• The Residence Hall Association (RHA) acts as the official liaison between the Department of

Residence (DOR) and those living on campus. We promote the lifestyle of living on campus which includes developing community among residents and educating them on social justice issues.
RHA General Assembly (GA) conducts official business in the West Towers Lounge, located on the 2nd floor above the Rialto Dining center every Thursday Evening
Allocation Regulations
• Maximum amount allowed to request from RHA is $250
•

Funding Requests are reviewed and must gain approval from Executive Board prior to being placed on the agenda for GA for a vote on allocating funds
Pending approval, Student Organizations will have 3 minutes to speak about their event to the
GA followed by Q&A session with voting following. Organizations will be asked to leave for
• voting and will be notified via email as to the allocation decision.
Note: Events RHA supports must be held on campus and be open to all UNI Residence.
• Funding requests are due Mondays at noon 10 days prior to the RHA General Assembly meeting.
• Please note the Executive board reserves the right to deny any fund request it deems not
• mutually beneficial to RHA or if it doesn’t support our mission as governing body.
