GSIS Terms of Payment (2019/2020)
Registration and admission fee
•
All new pupils are required to pay a registration and admission fee. It is only when full payment of these fees have been made that
the pupil is considered to be admitted to the school.
•
Registration and admission fees are not refundable.
School fees
•
The total amount due may be paid in two installments into the account of the GSIS-Accra.
•
1st Half of the school fees must be paid in advance, before starting school/by 1st August of the respective school year
and the 2nd instalment by the end of February of the current academic year.
Reduction of admission fee
•
25% reduction for the second child
•
50% reduction for the third child
•
75% reduction for the fourth and each additional child
Reduction of school fees
•
For the third child and each additional child there is a 10% reduction of school fees.

Extra curricular activities and After School Care
•
There is an extra cost for these activities and this will also be specified on the bill for the school fees.
Class trips:
•
The school bears half of the costs and the parents the other half for class trips.
Outstanding school fees:
•
Two weeks after deadline a warning letter is sent. If payment is not made within the following two weeks the child will not be able to attend school
until the payment has reflected on the school’s bank account.
•
Report cards will only be issued if the school fees have been paid in full.
Additional terms related to admission and withdrawal
•
Guest students are students who would like to visit our school (experience our environment /max. 3 school days) or former students.
•
From the 4th day of school visit, the admission and administration fees must be paid. These fees will be credited to the student in future admissions
to the school.
•
Please note that the notice period for withdrawals/termination is two months in advance.

If the school attendance does not exceed eight months during the academic year (registration/withdrawal during the academic year), the tuition fee is
calculated as follows:

The registration and adminission fees remain unaffected by this new regulation and remain in force.
The financial year (academic year) begins from 1st of August and ends on the 31st of July the following year. In general, full months are always invoiced.
Prorated billings (weekly) will not be concidered.
The contribution to the Parents Association is EUR 10.00 per family and academic year, this contribution is compulsory.
The daily lunch for the students is not to be paid to the school. The catering service will invoice you separately.
