Safety Shower and Eye Wash

Engineering Controls (ventilation, hoods, interlocks, barriers)

Proper Warning Signs and labels on doors, freezers, incubators and cabinets.

Check on compressed gas levels, dry ice containment

Volatile chemicals and solvents stored in enclosures vented to the outside

Chemicals stores in compatible groups

Checking for biohazard waste - red cans should be lined, generator labels should be applied to bags v.2.10.20

Safety Check List

Sharps bins should also have generator labels if in use

Labels on reagents - should include name and any hazardous properties; if non-hazardous, it should say "Non-Hazardous"

Check on equipment displays (cold storage, incubators should all be in range), etc.
