DIGITAL COMPETENCY-BASED READING INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS FOR GRADE 3 SPED PUPILS

SPED learners meaning slow learners or has low reading proficiency level
Target is to produce Digital Competency-Based Reading Instructional Materials. An innovative
material in teaching SPED pupils that integrates technology in presenting the lesson and that can
improve reading proficiency of the learners.
Digital reading instructional materials will focus on the following competencies:
1. Identify several effects based on a given cause
2. Distinguish fact from opinion
Meaning, Digital Reading Instructional Materials Set 1 for “Cause and Effects” , then Digital
Reading Instructional Materials Set 2 for Fact and Opinion.
So, look for Grade 3 reading materials for cause and effect and fact and opinion then convert it
to digital using PPT or look for other reference and have an idea..

SPED learners meaning slow learners or has poor rating in the last two quarter examinations in
Science IV
Target to produce Digital Interactive-based Materials. An innovative material in teaching SPED
learners that integrates technology in presenting the lesson. THE CONCEPT FOR THE OUTPUT is
to make a strategic intervention material (SIM), a digital SIM using PPT. (I have a sample SIM in
my table)
The digital SIM will focus on the following competencies (least learned competencies):
1. Infer that body structures help animals adapt and survive in their particular habitat (Animals)
p. 51
2. Compare the stages in the life cycle of organisms (Heredity: Inheritance and Variation 4.1
Life Cycles) p. 53
3. Describe some types of beneficial interactions among living things (Ecosystem) p. 53
4. Describe ways to protect oneself from exposure to excessive light, heat and sound (Light,
Heat, and Sound) p. 57
Meaning set 1 for 1 topic about infer that body structures help animals adapt and survive in
their particular habitat
Set 2 for compare the organs in the life cycle of organisms
Set 3 for describe some types of beneficial interactions among living things
Set 4 for describe ways to protect oneself from exposure to excessive light, heat and sound
Format for digital materials (even to SIM.. don’t follow the format of SIM, this is the suggested format of
ASIAN)

jen ang flash cards.. kasi 11 pa ang given format dun.. ngayon 8 na lang.. mas madali.
