Change the temperature
Heat​ - heating pad, hot towel, hot water bottle (on abdomen,
back, or groin)
Cold​ - fan, cool washcloths (especially during transition), cold
water bottle or can to roll over low back

Breathing
Count the number of times you breathe in and out in a

Taste​ - Chocolate, suckers, gum, mouthwash/toothpaste
Hearing​ - Music (create a playlist), prayers/chants
Sight​ - Affirmations, focal point (can provide grounding)
Touch​ - Massage, hugs and kisses (oxytocin!), acupressure
points
