The provider(s) to the sector of which you will be working
The roles and responsibilities involved in your position during work

●
●
●
●
●
●
●
Location - consider the location in relation to your school (as most students
live in this area). Consider the time spent travelling each day.
Transport costs - is it feasible for you to get there each day?
Skills - what skills do you need to possess, what skills might you gain? How
might this help in the future?
Personal qualities -what personal qualities are needed? Is there an area that
this work experience might enhance?
Who you will be working with - is this suited to people who prefer to work
individually, in small teams or larger teams?
Working hours - roster, shifts, regular hours etc? How might this fit in with
someone's schedule and other commitments?
Legal issues - does confidentiality mean that it would be hard to get a
placement? At what level could someone be involved?
