Pursuant to the authority, powers, and virtues vested in me by Article IV, Section 3 of the Constitution of
the Oklahoma Student Government Association, I wish to inform you that I am appointing Jonathan
Samual Curtis as a member of the Student Advisory Board to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher
Education.
I have had the pleasure of working hand-in-hand with Curtis over the past few years, and can personally
attest to his exceptional advocacy and leadership abilities. Curtis is a student at the University of
Oklahoma majoring in [major]. While a student, Curtis has served as an intern for U.S. Congresswoman
Kendra Horn, field organizer for a Norman City Councilman’s campaign, and as an advocate for LGBTQ
people, women, minorities, common education, and Higher Education. I have no doubt that Curtis will be
an asset to the state system of Higher Education.
