3. Using a transfer pipet add 3 – 4 drops from test tube 2 into test tube 1. Place
the pipet into the large beaker of water when finished.

6. Locate the small beaker with the clear substance in it. Using a new transfer
pipet withdraw one full pipet of fluid from the beaker. (It is important to use a
new pipet to avoid contamination).
7. Add the entire pipet of fluid to test tube 3.
