Instructions
Step 1
Pick a broom and each of you begin to break single fronds off them until you break off all the
bunch.
Step 2
Take another Broom and this time attempt to break the whole bunch altogether
Step 3
In your groups discuss why it was easy to break single fronds and why it was impossible to
break the whole bundle. Consider individuality, diversity and the interconnectedness of our
world
