Now ask them how will they write about it. Note feedback on board. Now tell them that there are 2 ways to show it. 1. 2+2+2+2 or 2. 4 sets of 2. So what exactly are we doing? We are adding the same number again and again. But we can do multiplication too. Repeat with a few examples. Follow up: w sheet ( repeated addition and multiplication) Multiplication with objects.( Ask them to write the number of sets first and then how many objects are in each set and then write total number) Day2: Drill of some tables on their white boards.
