Quiz Contest - 2019" dated on 8th and 9th February. We would cordially like to invite your
highly esteemed institution to participate in the contest which we believe makes a meaningful
difference. The sole motive behind organizing the program is to give the students more
exposure to extra-curricular activity to enhance their knowledge and build up their confidence.
The details, participants' form, rules and general guidance have been enclosed here with.

2019 A.D.

General Rules for the Participants of the Contest.
Creative Academy, one of Nepal’s premier institutions, is dedicated to promote quality education and
sustainable development in the nation and abroad, concentrates basically on quality education delivery and
enhancement of academic strengths of the institutions, students and teachers, and strongly believes that these
dissipations are part of its corporate social responsibility. As sturdy attempts of the institution to spread its
quality circle in its vicinity benefitting all concerned, it has been producing and reproducing qualified and
skillful human resources capable to compete in this complicated and fast developing world. The more the
demand of efficient and efficacious human resources, stronger is the service of CA to meet the requirement. As
a result of which, CA is one of the leading and most reputed academic institutions located in the historical town,
Kirtipur.
Different academic and non-academic activities targeted for overall growth of students is one of its features.
Under CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service) program which is its unique feature. CA has programmed Quiz
Contest, of which general rules are listed below:
1. The medium of communication in the contest is English. If any confusions, can also be addressed in Nepali
language upon the permission granted.
2. The total duration of time shall be 30 seconds for direct questions and 10 second for passed questions.
3. Group division and seat planning shall be done by lucky draw in the presence of quiz committee.
4. Area of topics for questions shall be from:
Geography
Sports and Entertainment
Literature and Mythology
Current Affairs
Science and Technology
History and Politics
Round
a) Poke your mind (IQ Round)
b) General Round
c) Topic Selection
d) Audio Visual Round
e) Gambling Round
f) Doubt and Guess Round
g) Rapid Fire Round
5. The questions will be asked both clockwise and anti clockwise.
6. After completion of 50% questions, seat plan will be rearranged by lucky draw system.
7. Every direct question carries 10 points and every passed question carries 5 points, except Rapid fire round.
8. If any group finds mistake in the question and answer that group or group representative can claim by
raising hand immediately after the particular round gets over.
9. If answer comes from audience before participants, the concerned question will be null and void and another
question will be asked to the same group.
10. In case of ‘drawn’ between two groups or more than two, additional questions will be asked proportionally
to the concerned teams and first, second and third will be declared respectively.
11. All judgments and rights regarding competition are reserved under the discretion of the panel of Judge.
12. The total number of participants will be three in each group.
13. The students from Grade VI to X are eligible to take part in the contest. For each participant School ID card
is a must.
14. Students from the host school will not participate in the contest. They will only conduct the Quiz, and
volunteer during the program.
15. The contest is to be held from 25th Magh, 2075 BS in the school premises.
16. Deadline for submitting registration form is 21st Magh, 2075 BS.
17. Registration fee Rs. 1500 /- (One team), 2500/- (Two teams).
18. Participants are expected in school uniform accompanied by school representative/s.
19. Prizes will be awarded on the Final Day of the Quiz Contest (i.e. 26th Magh, 2075).
20. Prize Scheme:
1st Prize: Trophy, Gold Medal, Certificates & Cash Prize Rs. 7,000.
2nd Prize: Trophy, Silver Medal, Certificates & Cash Prize Rs. 5,000.
3rd Prize: Trophy, Bronze Medal, Certificates & Cash Prize Rs. 3,000.
4th Prize: Trophy, Certificates & Cash Prize Rs. 2,000.
