Course Outline
Fundamental principles of fluid mechanics and their application to
engineering problems. Fluid statics. Fluid flow concepts. Control-volume
analysis. Conservation equations and applications. Dimensional analysis
and similitude. Flow of viscous fluids, simple laminar flow systems,
turbulence, internal and external flow applications.

only; no photocopy).

Additional Remarks 
80% is required
Attendance sheet may be handed out at any time during the two-hour
period. If you miss signing it at that time, you will be considered
missing the whole two-hour class.
Each homework problem will be graded as follows:
Good effort and correct answer 5 pts,
Good effort but incorrect answer 3 pts,
Not enough effort 1 pt,
Unacceptable 0 pt.
Any cheating on homework will be graded as 0 pt and the first warning will
be given. At the second cheating, the whole homework grade (total 15%)
will be zero. Working as a group is encouraged, but copying is not allowed.
Burden of proof that you have not cheated is on you. Therefore, show all
your work. Submit all your work. Please staple them.
