Ground Station Engineer JANUS

Background
JANUS is a project which aims at helping students to build their own nanosatellites. The project also covers the
development of ground stations used to communicate with those nanosatellites.
The goal of the internship is to adapt the existing ground receiving stations in order to make them compatible
with the ongoing nanosatellites projects.

Description of the internship (objectives)
In this framework, the intern will:
-

Make a list of the existing equipment
Identify the modifications which need to be implemented on the equipment and on the software
Develop the drivers needed to command the equipment
Perform global tests to verify proper functioning of the equipment
Required profile
Requested University / Education: University Master’s level, Bachelor’s level
Requested knowledge: Electronics, Computing
Education level (reference for France): ☒BAC+5

