MIB260 - Access to CONNECT as of December 2019
Your MED160 class uses activities on the McGraw Hill CONNECT website. Your access code is to the McGraw Hill CONNECT site is available through the RedShelf E-textbook link that is located in your Moodle MED160 class. However, to access your CONNECT activities, you will have to:
Retrieve the CONNECT web address provided by your instructor
Redeem a CONNECT access code through the RedShelf E-Textbook link
Create an account in CONNECT and
Redeem your access code at the CONNECT website.
RETRIEVE THE CONNECT WEB ADDRESS PROVIDED BY YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Locate the CONNECT web address provided by your instructor. The CONNECT web address is located either in Moodle (check the class dashboard, Announcements, etc.) or emailed to you. You will use the link later in the process.
REDEEM A CONNECT ACCESS CODE THROUGH THE REDSHELF E-TEXTBOOK LINK
You only have to use the RedShelf E-Textbook link only once to redeem your CONNECT access code. After you redeem your code, you will work in CONNECT using the link that your instructor provided. Here is how you redeem your CONNECT access code.
STEP 1 – Login to
Moodle and click on the RedShelf E-
Textbook link.
Step 2 You will see the Connect image.
Click on “View
Course Materials”
Step 3 Click on
“Acquire Code”
Step 4 Note this code.
NOTE : when entering your access code, keep in mind that 0 is a zero and O is a capital o. l is the letter
L and 1 is the number one.
CREATE AN ACCOUNT IN CONNECT IF YOU DON’T ALREADY HAVE ONE
Step 1 – Open a browser (Chrome or Firefox) and enter or click on the
CONNECT section web address
(URL) provided by your instructor .
Enter your Stratford email address and click on “Begin”
Step 2 – Create your account by entering your Stratford information
(email and Moodle password).
Click on the “I agree” statement and click on “Continue”.
STEP 3 – At this screen, click on
“continue with my new account”.
REDEEM YOUR ACCESS CODE
STEP 1 - In this screen you will see your course material on the left. Enter the
Access Code that you received through
RedShelf and click on “Redeem”
NOTE : when entering your access code, keep in mind that 0 is a zero and O is a capital o. l is the letter L and 1 is the number one.
STEP 2 -
Click on “Confirm”
STEP 3 - Click on “GO TO CONNECT”
STEP 3 – Once you are signed into CONNECT, you will have access to your assignments as well as your course materials which include your etextbook for the class.
