EARTHQUAKE DRILL
(3rd Quarter)
SEPTEMBER 27, 2017
Nationwide earthquake drill was scheduled last September 27, 2017. San Maximo Elementary School
actively participated in the drill. The drill was led by our School Head, MRS. INOCENCIA P. PIMENTEL and
assisted by all members of SDRRMC.
There drill was conducted, on September 2017 at 2:00 pm with 9 teachers, Kinder to Grade Six with a
total of participants 214.
During the drill, all members of the School’s SDRRMC, pupils and Teacherst and others were assigned to
different buildings, covered court and other areas of the school to monitor the drill and to assist the
evaluators. Post conference was done after the drill.
The evaluation team stated the following assessments/observations/recommendations that:
1. the drill was succesful and smoothly processed;
2. all teachers and students cooperated seriously;
3. all of the the school’s SDRRMC excellently have done their respective duties;
4. each building must have fire extinguishers , Medicine Cabinets with First Aid Kit; and
The school now is finding ways to improve and follow the recommendations stated above. It is planned
to invite resource speakers on RISK REDUCTION MANAGEMENT from the MDRRMC. We are now seeking
medical equipment, fire extinguishers and the like from NGO’s with the help of the PTA.
