• Emanata – lines and symbols that give information about the
character’s physical and mental state
Angle
• Where is the camera?
• High, mid, low, and tilted
• Are we looking down at
the images or looking up
to them?
• What images are above
and/or below each
other?
Style
• How much detail is in the
drawings?
• How strong is the contrast?
(think about lighting)
• What kinds of colours are used?
• Realistic versus fantastic
