Directions for Use
ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES WHEN LIGHTING PYROTECHNICS
7. Take the mine rack and place it onto a level surface in an appropriate location (away
from any materials which could catch fire)
8. Ensure the rack is filled completely with mines. I.e. a five-mine-rack MUST be filled with
five mines to avoid shifting during shots
9. Rip away the silvered protective fuse cover from ONE of the mines exposing the tip of
the fuse. DO NOT remove the protective cover from the other mines as this could lead to
accidental ignition.
10. Gently bend the fuse away from the mine body so it is easier to light
11. Light the very tip of the fuse and quickly move back a safe distance. The fuse will burn
for 8 seconds before igniting the mine. The mine will then display before selfextinguishing
12. Wait 30 seconds before returning to the rack to ignite the next mine
IMPORTANT: NEVER PLACE ANY BODY PART OVER THE TOP OF A MINE! WHEN
IGNITED MINES THROW FLAMING STARS AT HIGH SPEED WHICH ARE CAPABLE OF
INFLICTING SEVERE BURNS OR SERIOUS BODILY HARM. ALWAYS KEEP WELL
CLEAR OF THE TOP OF A MINE EVEN WHEN YOU BELIEVE IT IS SAFE
