 I take this opportunity to welcome {Mr. Rahul Kapoor, Director,

Institute of Science Banagalore, CEOs of different Smart Cities,
Delegates, partners, Startup winners and all the participants, It`s my
privilege to welcome you all on this occasion.
 Before starting today’s proceedings, I would request the chief guest and
guests seated on the dais to light the lamp …. The tradition to light a
lamp first before starting any auspicious events has some significance.
Light represents new beginning. A new dawn. Light symbolizes the
absence of darkness, and unhappiness. For Pune Smart City, today is a
new beginning. As we are taking steps in to a path, that not many has
taken. We begin a new journey.
