Subject: ACI-ICAO Implementing Annex 14: Advanced
Aerodrome Design and Operations
(Bangkok, Thailand, 9 - 13 December 20 19)

Sir/Madam,
I have the honour to invite your Administration to nominate participants to attend the
ACI-ICAO Implementing Annex 14: Advanced Aerodrome Design and Operations Course which will be
held in the ICAO Asia Pacific (APAC) Regional Office in Bangkok, Thailand, from 9 to 13 December
2019.
The ACI-ICAO Implementing Annex 14: Advanced Aerodrome Design and Operations
Course is a five-day classroom course currently provided in the English language. The goal of this course
is to enable participants to support the implementation of the ICAO Annex 14, Volume I Standards and
Recommended Practices (SARPs) in their aerodromes to achieve compliance. The course will utilize case
studies for participants to practice implementation activities of Annex 14. This course will make use of
relevant ICAO documentation such as Doc 9981 : PANS-Aerodromes.
The detailed information about this course and prerequisite to join the course is provided
in the attached Course Description.
Individuals interested in attending the ACI-ICAO Implementing Annex 14 Training must

than 8 November 2019. Due to capacity limitations, registrations will be on a first-come first-served
basis.

Please note that participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements, including
hotel reservations, as well as travel and medical insurance. Before leaving their country of origin, all
participants must ensure their travel documentation to and from Thai land is valid. Participants who
require an entry visa to Thailand must obtain it from their nearest consulate or embassy prior to
departure. The visa application process may take several weeks, therefore, it is highly recommended
that participants apply as early as possible.
