ATTENDANCE POLICY
1. Keys Community expects that every employee will be regular and punctual in
attendance. This means being ready to work at your starting time each day.
Absenteeism and tardiness place a burden on other employees and on the company at
large.
2. Hourly employees: When you are unable to work, please promptly notify your
Supervisor. If you cannot reach your Supervisor, leave a message on Kyanti or Tylesha’s
phone.

You MUST call in before your scheduled shift. Leaving a message with a fellow employee
does not constitute an acceptable notification of absence. If you do not report for work
and Key Community is not notified of your status, it will be assumed after three (3)
consecutive days of absence that you have voluntarily resigned and will be removed
from payroll.
Counselors: Must notify management if they are going to be late/absent. Management
requires as much notice as possible so that schedules can be rearranged and adjusted to
insure Key Community clients receive their scheduled services in a timely manner.
EVERYONE- If you are running more than 10mins late, you must call or text. Otherwise,
it will be assumed to be an unexcused absence and your shift/clients will be adjusted
accordingly.
3. If you become ill at work and/or must leave Keys Community for some other reason
before the end of your shift, notify your supervisor before you leave.
4. Excessive tardiness or absenteeism will result in disciplinary action up to and including
discharge.
