BMI
Remember that your BMI is calculated using your height and weight; the numbers below are
general estimates and only give you an idea of where you are with this indicator. You may not be
very overweight, but have a higher BMI because you have poor muscle tone for example! This
would indicate a need to focus on muscular strength and endurance activities in your workouts.
BMI Categories:
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
