This percentage is high, which indicate that there is a high satisfaction for the quality of students' learning experience in the program. For male students, the proportion of satisfaction has increased dramatically from 76% to 88% compared with the previous semester (Fall 2018). It can be noted that more students have participated in the current semester’s survey, Spring 2019, which might be the reason for this remarkable increment. This is because, usually, students fill out the survey when they are not pleased with the quality of their learning experience to express their un-satisfaction. Moreover, students were encouraged to participate effectively in the survey, which has led to increase the proportion of 1 Quality and Development Deanship University of Business and Technology KPIs Template participation that has ultimately led to representing more reliable data. As for the female campus, there was a minor decrement in the satisfaction of learning experience’s quality. Another point to be taken into consideration is that the number of participated female students is low compared to the participated male students. Strengths: 1. Exceeded the targeted benchmark 70% by reaching maximum of 84%. 2. Teaching and learning in the SCM program follow institutional well-established processes. 3. Student assessments are clear and diversified that mapped to the program learning outcomes. 4. Students who face challenges in the learning process are closely monitored and assisted to improve their records. Recommendations for Improvement: 1. Students, especially females, should be encouraged to complete the survey. One way to achieve that is by launching the survey more often and makes it more accessible through alternative web application other than the opera system. 2. Collaborate with an academic international partner to enhance teaching and learning experience. 3. Establishment of different students' clubs to provide scientific and social services for the students. 4. Conduct more workshops for students who need advising regarding to their low GPA or other problems. 2 Quality and Development Deanship University of Business and Technology KPIs Template KPI: Students' evaluation of the quality of the courses NCAAA KPI Reference Number: KPI-P-04 Program KPI Reference Number: Actual Target Overall Female 77% 75% Internal Benchmark Target Benchmark Male 79% Year Female Male 2016 76% 77% 2017 78% 79% 2018 75% 79% External Benchmark New target Benchmark ≥70% Analysis: STAT-011 OPERA Course Evaluation Survey This indicator was estimated based on the survey used to evaluate the courses by students during the last academic year 2018. Clearly, it is shown that the actual target was 77%, which exceeds the target benchmark 70%. Although the results of male students’ evaluation regarding the quality of courses are relatively constant compared to the previous year (2017), the results of female students’ surveys have revealed a lower satisfaction, i.e. from 78% to 75%. This might be due to the continuous change in faculty members, which has led to instability and lower quality in delivering the courses. However, in general, the results have clearly exceeded the targeted benchmark 70% by reaching maximum of 77% as an average of both campuses. 3 Quality and Development Deanship University of Business and Technology KPIs Template Strengths: 1. Exceeded the targeted benchmark 70% by reaching maximum of 77%. 2. The SCM program’s faculty members are highly qualified to teach the program’s courses. 3. The program works closely with the industry to provide students with internship placements and to offer jobs after graduation. 4. Evaluation surveys are used to monitor the performance of learning and teaching and improve plans accordingly. Recommendations for Improvement: 1. Collaborate with an academic international partner to enhance teaching and learning experience. 2. Attract and retain highly qualified faculty members to teach in the program. 3. Conduct selective workshops for faculty members in the needed weakness areas. 4 Quality and Development Deanship University of Business and Technology KPIs Template KPI: Students' satisfaction with the offered services NCAAA KPI Reference Number: KPI-P-11 Program KPI Reference Number: Actual Target Section (1) Advice and Support Section (2) Target Benchmark Overall Female Male 78.46% 79% 77.92% Overall Female Male 77.88% 76% 79.76% Internal Benchmark Section (1) Advice and Support Learning Resources & ≥70% Section (2) Facilities Learning Resources & Facilities Semester Fall 2016 Spring 2017 Fall 2017 Spring 2018 Fall 2018 Spring 2019 Semester Fall 2016 Spring 2017 Fall 2017 Spring 2018 Fall 2018 Spring 2019 Female 76% 77% 78% 77% 80% 79% Female 75% 77% 78% 77% 78% 76% External Benchmark New target Benchmark Male 85.94% 87.94% 83.13% 86.77% 85% 77.92% Male 90.18% 88.40% 87.32% 88.74% 83.64% 79.76% Analysis: STAT-013 OPERA Student Experience Survey (Section 1&2) The figure shows that 78% of students from both campuses (Male and female) are satisfied regarding the offered support and learning services.
