Instructions
For the next two weeks you will be responsible for reading part 3 of the novel
independently (Ch. 20-33).
As you are reading there are several tasks that you must complete.
Task 1 – Characters – 20 marks
Using the sheets provided in this booklet you will record what you learn about Darrow’s
personality and physical traits, along with one other character of your choice from part 3.

Remember that traits may be implied through the characters’ actions and
what other characters say. They do not have to come from direct
statements.
