The given maps present information about improvement in an adjoining town, that is
Meadowside Village and Fonton, over three distinct periods (1962, 1985 and the present).
Overall, it is evident that, over the period, the area witnessed dramatic changes with which
increased residential distinct (the area witnessed dramatic changes including the expansion of
residential distinct).This is associated with the unification of the two cities.
Comparing two time periods (1962 and 1985), the most perceptible changes are the rising (this
word isn't appropriate in this sentence, it's better to use such words as expansion, extension or
development) of the area in the north west part of Fonton and the whole territory of
Meadowside Village, also there was built a railway which connected two cities. Furthermore, in
Meadowside Village was created (the infrastructure of Meadowside Village had been
developed including the construction of…) a housing estate, superstore, and leisure complex,
therefore the city became more residential.
There was also some enlargement from 1985 to present day. The area was noticeable increased
noticeably, that is, two cities, which is Meadowside Village and Fonton, were totally became as
one city (the merging of Meadowside Village and Fonton into a single municipality). Near to the
railway was built a station and new buildings such as a business park and a hotel were built
near the station. (A station and new buildings such as a business park and a hotel have been
