The Crucible-Puritan Journal Entry
Using the information that you gathered as you researched the Puritans (graphic organizer), write a journal entry as if you were a Puritan in the year 1692. You should give yourself a name, something relevant to Puritan Society. You should decide about your family (how many family members, your job, how many children, etc.). Remember all of the topics that you researched earlier. Your journal entry should include the following topics:

About your family and family life

Your Education
3.
About your life in Salem and your home
4.
Types of food that you eat daily
5.
About your government in Salem
6.
About a crime and punishment for the guilty of the crime
7.
Explain how the Salem Witch Trials affected your life (could be during the trials and after the trials)
Journal guidelines: a.
Be sure to date your journal (ex. April 4, 1692) b.
Salutation (Dear Journal,) c.
Journal must be at least five paragraphs

You will need to write a rough draft since we will type the final draft of the journal.
