About Ada Lovelace
Ada Lovelace was the child of Lord Byron and Lady Byron and she was the sister of
Augusta Leigh. Ada lost her father when she was only 8 years old, also Ada was often ill when
she was younger, she often suffered headaches that messed with her vision. Ada’s mother
wanted to get rid of any insanity she accused Byron for by having Ada learn math. She was
privately schooled by William Frend , William King and Mary Somerville the noted 19th-century
researcher and scientific author. Augustus De Morgan was one of her late mathematical and
logician tutors. When she was seventeen that’s when her mathematical skills started to
emerge.
Throughout her life Lovelace was always very interested
