The Song 3005 by Childish Gambino, a 2013 hit to me was well mixed because the
microphone, compressor, and limiter they used was well perfected. The highs in his voice was
smooth and crisp. His vocals wasn’t too harsh and not low but fit right with the beat and feel of
the song. He has a smooth vibrato type of voice that made the beat stand out a little. Gambino
range varies from song to song but in this song he used notes like G4, E4, E3, D3, to C3.
The type of Microphone he used for this song sounds like a condenser
microphone. Because of its full sound it produced in the song. But altogether, 3005 is a
well-produced song that was well mixed vocal wise and beat wise.
