Background
Miss Eco is an International Beauty pageant that
brings together representatives from different
cultures and traditions from all over the world. Its
main objective is to promote the importance of
saving our planet environmentally in addition to
marketing tourism across the world. This
competition focuses on the wellness of the mind,
body and spirit of all the candidates that represent
all the countries from all over the globe.
Miss Eco is officially working under the umbrella of the United Nations
(LTCP) and IIMSAM United Nations
Egyptian Tourism Authority
OBJECTIVES
• To bring international recognition to the Host
Country for its policies and programs on
environmental preservation and
sustainability.
• To create and promote international
awareness on the various eco-tourism spots
of the Host Country.
• To educate and motivate the youth to have a
personal stake in the protection of Mother
Earth and to practice green living in their
day-to-day life.
• To inspire the world’s leaders to prioritise
environmental concerns over
commercial/industrial ones.
Aside from pursuing their environmental
advocacy, Miss Eco delegates and winners

HOST COUNTRY
REVENUES
• Sponsorship and advertising revenues
from the different pre-pageant events and
the live television coverage of the Miss
ECO Coronation Night.
• Ticket sales from the various pre-pageant
events/primes and Coronation Night..
• Attracting the tourists from all over the
world to the host country and show the
beautiful places, cultural sites and
enjoyable hotels and beaches. By inviting
guests of honour and VIPs from outside
the country who will encourage people to
come and attend the finale night –
translating into more income for the
country.
HOST COUNTRY REVENUES
•
From the agreed date, we will announce the name
of the host country for MEI and the contestants
will start using hashtags for the country name.
FOR EXAMPLE #COME_TO_MAURITIUS
AND PUBLISH IT ON THEIR PAGES FOR
ONE YEAR
•
Contestants must also make a tourism video of 3minutes duration about the host country, choose a
place to promote then upload it on YOUTUBE
and social media. In total, there will be about 90
videos promoting Mauritius – MTPA/Ministries
will receive the original copies – and the winner
of best video will get one week complementary in
the best area in Mauritius and her responsibility
during her reigning year is to promote and market
Mauritius.
MISS ECO CORONATION NIGHT
Two hours live telecast Venue – minimum of 2000 seating capacity. A
full-scale 7 to 10 camera production Sequence Guide OBB (Tourism
spots with Miss ECO delegates) Delegates’ opening number VTR of
tourism visit/highlights Activities Introduction of Judges.

HOSTING REQUIREMENTS
LOGISTICS AND TV PRODUCTION COST
•
Minimum of US$ 700,000 for all the related expenses.
Ministries and Ministry of Tourism in Indonesia shall share
with us the expenses:

Pageant night requirements

Local permits to stage a pageant/ location shoots

Venue for the coronation night
•
TV/technical production.
•
The host shall undertake the construction and set-up of the
following with guidance from outside, inc. (CPI) lights,
sounds, communication requirements, editing facilities, video
cameras and other technical requirements including satellite
feed
•
Provide venue (minimum seating 2,000 persons), stage for
the coronation night - hotel accommodation and meals for
150 persons for 16 days
•
Holding Area with tables, chairs, mirrors and toilets for 90 candidates, 30
Make Up Artists, 15 Wardrobe Assistants and 6 Team Managers
•
— Briefing rooms — Dinner/Cocktail for 30 (UN executives, Judges and
Tabulators) during the Pre-judging and Coronation Night
•
TRANSPORTATION. Buses for candidates, TV Productions Group,
Dancers/Choreographer, Tabulators, Judges, MISS ECO staff and
executives, Hosts, Hair & Make-up Artist and Press
HOSTING REQUIREMENTS
for 20 Days

SECURITY for the DELEGATES.
•
SUPPORT PERSONNEL. The host shall provide assistance during events
and the grand coronation night.
•
PUBLICITY. Host Country will provide a Public-Relations group to
handle this.
•
RESERVED SEATS FOR UN AND MISS ECO, ORGANIZERS and
GUESTS
•
SECRETARIAT.
•
Host Country to provide office space for MISS ECO AND UN STAFF
Secretariat with all necessary equipment and communication facilities for
the duration of the Pageant
MISS ECO
INTERNATIONAL
RESPONSIBILITY
•
OVERALL SUPERVISION. MEI shall be responsible for the
overall conduct of the event.
MEI RESPONSIBILITIES
•
BRING 70-85 DELEGATES FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD
•
PRODUCTION PERSONNEL.
•
MEI will provide the Production Staff for the Coronation Night
including, but not limited to, TV Director, Stage Director,
Technical Director, Choreographer, Stenographer, Creative
Director and Script Writers, Executive Producers, Lighting
Director, Wardrobe, Segment Producers, Cameramen, Editors,
Production Assistants, Hosts and Performers (all personnel for the
grand coronation night and below-the-line events).
•
JUDGES. MEI will provide 3 of the 9 Coronation Night Judges
•
PUBLICITY & PROMOTION. MEI will ensure that the host
venue is promoted in all its external and local communications
including website, social media and broadcast of the event in

local and international television stations.

SCHEDULING. MEI will schedule all activities of the Delegates
for the duration of the pageant.
•
CASH PRIZES FOR THE FOUR WINNERS Winners will have
a contract with MEI after the coronation night.
