After the add campaign, amalgamated reviewed dozens of candidates and NBB appointed Jack Scott as the president. Scott flew to Brewery to learn about NBB. After seeing the casting shots outside bike shops in Fort Collins and Boulder, Scott decided that Boulder Craftsmen Charles SrBecky will play as Tinkerer. In September 2004, members of NBB, Amalgamated and production company RSA met in Hotchkiss and started shooting over a 3 day period. A total of 9 potential shoots happened over a 3 day period. Amalgamated returned to New York to begin postproduction of shoots with NBB’s input. They chose a musical bed of the artist named Devendra Banhart who belong to genre of ‘Freak Folk’. Banhart’s tone added a cheerful nostalgia to the work. The 16mm film gave a feel of 1970s and added by Banhart’s acoustic tunes, the entire campaign took a poignant turn instead of a ubiquitous mainstream beer advertising seen elsewhere. The NBB product finally appeared in last 5 seconds of the film between tag lines ‘Follow your Folly.. ours is beer’.
